American poker professional and entrepreneur Bryn Kenney wins back-to-back events at the Triton Poker Series held at the Maestral Resort & Casino in Montenegro. Kenney bagged the top prize for the HK$ 1 Million Main Event and took home HK$ 21.3 million (approximately US $2.7 million). Earlier, he bested other players in the HK$ 500 Thousand No-Limit Hold’em, Six Max Event, from which he won HK$ 11.23 million (approximately US$ 1.43 million).
The game was a tough one for Kenney as he went against Jason Koon, who smashed four events at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Jeju, including the No Limit Hold’em Short Deck Ante Only event where Koon claimed the top prize for HK$ 22.3 million (approximately US$ 2.8 million). Kenney also beat the Belarusian professional player Nikita “Mikita” Bodyakovskiy (also spelled Badziakouski) who won the top prize in the € 25,000 No Limit Hold’em King’s Short Deck Championship event at the 2018 World Series of Poker Europe.
Kenney said he felt very good about his success, reports the Triton Series website reporters.
